Abstract
The four stereoisomers of the two peripherally selective K-opioid agon ists EMD 60 400 and EMD 61 753 were synthesized, tested for stereoisom eric purity, and examined for affinity to the kappa opioid receptor. T he relationships between the configuration of these molecules and thei r biological activity are discussed. (C) 1994 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
