Abstract
The method and results of analysis of the magnetic field and the elect romagnetic torque in a permanent-magnet electric motor of the DVU type with a rotor consisting of ferrite-strontium permanent magnets with b oth radial and tangential magnetization parts are considered. Measures for optimizing the geometry of the stator and rotor are indicated, an d the possibility of using motors with rotors with various types of ma gnetization is assessed.
