Abstract
This paper proposes a new method for finding the reflection and transm ission operators of anisotropic flat-layered systems with commuting im pedance and normal-refraction operators. The method is based on the ap proximate computation of transfer matrices (coherent scattering matric es), which are functions of these operators. (C) 1996 The Optical Soci ety of America.
