Abstract
Carboniferous Pyrenean limestones with nodular pattern, overlain by th e Culm turbiditic complex, are analyzed from a micropaleontological po int of view. Microfacies and assemblages are described: - packstones w ith Crinoids, - packstones with Goniatites and benthic organisms, - wa ckestones with diversified fauna, - wackestones with Goniatites, Globo chaetes and Radiolaria, - wackestones with Globochaetes and Radiolaria . The problematical alga Globochaete, both paleozoic and mesozoic, is accurately examined. Conodonts and Ostracodes microfaunas support the epibathyal character of the deposits.
