The continuum part of the Li-6(a,a') Li-6 (1.47-2.47 MeV) scattering d
ata at E(a) = 50 MeV are extracted in two discretized bins. Coupled-ch
annel calculations are carried out coupling the 1 + ground state of Li
-6 with both the resonant, 3+1 state, and two non-resonant continuum s
tates. The discretized continuum of the Li-6 (p,p') Li-6 (1.75-3.25 Me
V) scattering data at E(p) = 65 MeV are also analysed on the same foot
ing. In both the cases the effect of coupling is found to be minimal.
