Abstract
The ability of five collembolan species to distinguish and graze selec tively on vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) has been verified. Fou r species preferred the food infected by VAM fungi. All collembolan sp ecies showed more or less significant preferences for one species/isol ate of the VAM fungi.
