Abstract
Below T-N = 12 K, the hexagonal phase of TbPtSn (ZrNiAl-type of crysta l structure) shows a non-collinear magnetic structure characterized by the wave vector k = [0.726, 0.766, 1/2]. The magnetic moment localize d on the Tb3+ ion is 8.8(1) mu(B) at 1.9 K.
