Abstract
Fluorescence quenching of some dyes and probe molecules residing near the surface of very small silver metal particulate has been described. The quenching effect has been shown to be surface induced which has b een authenticated by the reversible formation and destruction of the p article surface. Copyright (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
