EPIDERMOID CYST OF THE FLOOR OF THE MOUTH - DIAGNOSTIC-IMAGING BY SONOGRAPHY, COMPUTED-TOMOGRAPHY AND MAGNETIC-RESONANCE-IMAGING

Epidermoid and dermoid cysts are rare benign tumours which may occur a nywhere in the body. About 7% of them are found in the head and neck r egion and only 1.6% are located within the oral cavity. Pre-operative imaging of these lesions provides important diagnostic and anatomical information with regard to the patient's therapeutic management. This case report describes imaging findings in a patient with an extensive epidermoid cyst located within the sublingual space.
