Abstract
Aryltrialkyltins derived from aryl halides have been found to cross-co uple with trifluoroacetic anhydride in the presence of a palladium(0) catalyst. This method provides a chemoselective alternative to existin g processes that rely upon organolithium bases, or electrochemical app aratus for the generation of aryluifluoromethyl ketones.
