Abstract
A highly selective S-N reaction of allylic phosphates with various alu minum alkyls under CuCN catalysis is described. The addition of CuCN t o aluminum alkyls (AlR(3)) alters the regioselectivity of C-C bond for mation in THF or ethyl acetate giving almost exclusively S-N products in high yields.
