Va. Geiler et Iy. Popov, BALLISTIC TRANSPORT IN NANOSTRUCTURES - EXPLICITLY SOLVABLE MODELS, Theoretical and mathematical physics, 107(1), 1996, pp. 427-434
The theory of self-adjoint operator extensions is applied to the const
ruction of a sufficiently large class of exactly solvable ballistic tr
ansport models in nanostructures. In the models obtained, the transmis
sion coefficient T(E) demonstrates a simple dependence on the paramete
rs of the modeled device and the external magnetic field. Examples are
given of the models of quantum dots in which T(E), and thus the condu
ctance, exhibit on oscillatory behavior.
