Abstract
Cyanuric chloride reacts with tris(trimethylstannyl)amine to afford (M e(3)Sn)(2)N(C3N3Cl2) (1). Prolonged heating of the reaction mixture re sults in the formation of the trimer {Me(2)SnN(C3N3Cl2)}(3) (2), and t he crystal structure was determined for 2.3(THF). 1 was thermally deco mposed to a amorphous compound of empirical formula C6.9N6.8Sn.
