Abstract
Fifteen variously substituted derivatives (IVa-o) of 2-styrylquinazolo ne have been prepared for use as dye-stuffs. The effects of the nature and orientation of substituents on the colour and dyeing properties o f these dyes on polyester and acrylic fibres were assessed.
