Abstract
The effect of base and additive alloying elements on the structure and properties of cast Al-Cu-Si-Mg alloys was studied. The mechanical pro perties at room and elevated temperatures were shown to correlate well with the composition of a supersaturated solid solution and the struc ture of cast alloys.
