The design and implementation of multimodule parallel series-loaded re
sonant (SLR) converter system is presented. The SLR converter to be pa
ralleled is operated in the n = 2 discontinuous mode (DCM). Its dc ana
lysis and dynamic modeling are made. In parallel operation, an average
control technique is proposed to compensate the mismatch in current c
ontrol characteristics of each parallel converter. Good dynamic and st
atic current sharing characteristics are obtained. In addition, to obt
ain good output voltage regulating control performance, a design proce
dure is presented to find the parameters of feedback voltage controlle
r according to the prescribed specifications.
