Abstract
N,O-bis (trimethylsilyl) trifluoracetamide (BSTFA) was used to derivat ize D,L-proportional to-amino-n-butyric acid hydroxamate, D,L-valine h ydroxamate, and L-leucine hydroxamate. A gas chromatogram of the silyl ated derivative was obtained. The structures of the disubstituted deri vatives were confirmed by NMR.
