J. Werner et al., LASER-ANNEALING OF PLASMA POLYMER-METAL COMPOSITE FILMS AND ITS INFLUENCE ON OPTICAL-PROPERTIES, International journal of electronics, 77(6), 1994, pp. 945-949
Plasma polymer metal composite films, prepared by simultaneous plasma
polymerization and metal evaporation, were annealed by a Nd:YAG laser
to initiate changes of the metal particle size and shape without mater
ial ablation. The optical properties are determined by the metal parti
cle size and shape and were measured by UV/VIS/NIR spectroscopy before
and after laser-annealing. The changes of the silver particle size an
d shape were demonstrated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
