Abstract
Morphine-6-glucuronide 1, a patent analgesic, has been prepared from m orphine-3,6-diglucuronide 3 via a highly selective hydrolytic cleavage of the phenolic 3-glucuronide group using beta-glucuronidase as catal yst.
