Jc. Ling et al., JPL EARTH OCCULTATION ANALYSIS PACKAGE - STATUS AND DATA PRODUCTS, Astronomy & Astrophysics. Supplement series, 120(4), 1996, pp. 677-682
Sixty-five known cosmic sources are currently being monitored using th
e JPL Enhanced BATSE Occultation Package (EBOP). Daily source count ra
tes in 16 energy channels along with their corresponding errors, both
Poisson and systematic, are now becoming available to the community at
the Compton Observatory Science Support Center (COSSC), and at the PI
institution at MSFC. In this paper, we describe the EBOP system, it's
capabilities and limitations. We also present a sample of source spec
tra obtained for a Viewing Period and discuss issues related to the pr
ocessing method and results.
