Abstract
Fluorodenitration of nitro-substituted diphenyl sulphones occurs readi ly in dipolar aprotic solvents using tetramethylammonium fluoride as t he source of fluoride, although other reactions including fluorodesulp honylation can sometimes occur in competition.
