Abstract
Pleuropneumonia was produced by intratracheal inoculation of Mycoplasm a mycoides subsp. capri in goats. The infection was characterized by p yrexia (105 degrees - 106 degrees F; 41.3 degrees C), watery to catarr hal nasal discharge, laboured respiration, moist respiratory rales, co ughing and anorexia besides dullness, depression and emaciation. Haema tological alterations revealed anaemic changes and significant leucope nia.
