Abstract
Eggs of Amorbus obscuricornis (Westwood) and Gelonus tasmanicus (Le Gu illou) (Hemiptera: Coreidae) are reported for the first time as being parasitised by the encyrtid parasitoid Xenoencyrtus hemipterus (Giraul t). This is the first record of an egg parasitoid attacking these spec ies and is also the first record of the genus Xenoencyrtus Riek from T asmania. Brief notes on parasitism under laboratory conditions are pro vided.
