Abstract
Light-induced scattering is investigated in photorefractive LiNbO3:Fe and LiNbO3:Cu crystals with a photovoltaic charge transport. Differenc es in the energy transfer for orthogonally polarized waves are shown t o be the reason for the appearance of different polarization-anisotrop ic scattering patterns.
