Abstract
Iron-doped tetragonal potassium tantalate-niobate (KTN:Fe) crystals ar e used as photorefractive storage media for holographic double-exposur e interferometry. Holographic recording in the investigated crystals i s influenced by thermal treatments. Deformations of a diffusely reflec ting test target are observed with the help of holographic interferogr ams utilizing a phase-stepping technique.
