Abstract
The self-affine cascading model of 2-dimensional phase space is discus sed in some detail. The analytical expression for the scaled probabili ty moments, C-N(2) and C-N(3), are deduced for the self-similar analys is of a 2-dimensional self-affine fractal object with Hurst exponent H = 0.5, The Levy stability indices of the model are calculated analyti cally, It is shown that the results of Levy indices from the Monte Car lo simulation are consistent with those from the analytical calculatio n, The recent experimental data from NA22 collaboration are explained qualitatively.
