Ml. Bieganowska et al., REVERSED-PHASE RETENTION BEHAVIOR OF BETA-CYCLODEXTRIN COMPLEXES OF PHENOLIC AND CINNAMIC-ACIDS, JPC. Journal of planar chromatography, modern TLC, 8(1), 1995, pp. 63-68
The effects of beta-cyclodextrin on the retention of isomeric phenolic
and cis - trans cinnamic acids has been investigated by reversed phas
e HPLC and HPTLC with mixtures of buffer solution and different organi
c modifiers (methanol, acetonitrile, or tetrahydrofuran) as mobile pha
ses, The choice of organic modifier was governed by the solubility of
beta-cyclodextrin in the mobile phase mixtures.
