Abstract
Several methods for obtaining equivalent circuits compatible with PSPI CE for the transient analysis of nonuniform single transmission lines have been proposed. All of them suffer from inaccuracies and approxima tion errors. The method proposed in the Letter uses the Analog Behavio ral Modeling option of PSPICE, avoiding the problems of synthesising e lectrical circuits. The method allows the analysis of distributed line ar and nonlinear networks and is easy to use.
