Abstract
Multiwavelength channel NRZ to RZ format conversion using a single sem iconductor laser amplifier is proposed and experimentally demonstrated . Bit-error-rate measurement of four 10 Gbit/s converted RZ signal cha nnels has confirmed that no noticeable error floor existed.
