The authors analyzed psychoemotional reactions of 225 subjects (151 ma
les and 74 females, mean age 30.2 and 27.5 years, respectively) to det
ection of HIV in their blood serum. 52% of the examinees responed with
nonpathological emotions among which all kinds of anxiety were most c
ommon. Psychotherapeutic and pharmacological correction of anxiety is
specified.
