T. Vikki et Ot. Ikkala, ON THE DYNAMIC-MECHANICAL RELAXATIONS OF POLYANILINE(DODECYL BENZENE SULFONIC ACID)-SALT, Synthetic metals, 69(1-3), 1995, pp. 235-236
Processibility of polyaniline (PANI) can be increased by using functio
nalized counter ions, such as dodecyl benzene sulphonic acid (DBSA). R
ecently it has been observed that increased DBSA content yields plasti
cized and protonated melt processable complex. In this work this plast
icizing effect has been studied using dynamic mechanical relaxations a
re observable, the uppermost may be assigned to the glass transition t
emperature. The critical DBSA mole fraction to achieve essential plast
icization is 0.7.
