Abstract
Proton relaxation time T-1 has been measured versus the frequency on s amples of polybithiophene, poly-(dimethyl-tetrathiophene), poly-(-3-he xyld(13)-thiophene) and on a block deuterated polystyrene - polythioph ene copolymer. It is shown that the polaron motion is a quasi 1D diffu sion for all polymers. Intra- and interchain diffusion coefficients ar e obtained. Anisotropy appears to be very high in poly-(hexyl-thiophen e). The results are compared taking into account structural aspects of the compounds.
