Abstract
The polymerisation of poly(p-phenylenevinylene) 3 (PPV), traditionally done in aqueous solution, can also be performed in the dispersed phas e. The dispersion could he formed using either a high speed stirrer or a Vibromixer(R). Polymers with molar masses in excess of 100,000 Da w ere obtained. The photoluminescence spectra of the polymers are report ed.
