Abstract
The electrochemical properties of poly(N-substituted pyrrole)s were st udied. Polypyrrole(Pq) and poly(N-substituted pyrrole)s were prepared via electrochemical methods using tetrabutylammonium dodecyl sulfate(T BADS)/Acetonitrile(ACN) electrolyte system. The electropolymerized fil ms were characterized by potentiostat, SEM and 4-probe conductivity me ter. Structural characteristics of the films were discussed using cond uctivity and morphology as well as spectroscopy. It was found out that the N-substituted pyrroles having larger substituted groups are more hampered when oxidation, resulting in lower conductivity.
