Cavernous hemangioma is a benign congenital lesion that rarely involve
s the scrotum and primarily presents during childhood. We report a cas
e of subcutaneous scrotal-perineal hemangioma in a boy initially belie
ved to have an inguinal hernia. These lesions can be diagnostically an
d therapeutically challenging. Definitive treatment by en bloc excisio
n is recommended, Special staining techniques may be required for accu
rate pathological diagnosis.
