Abstract
The far-field power transmitted from a corner reflector was maximized by varying its direction angle and corner angle. The optimal direction angle and corner angle are found by the modal autofocus method. The m ethod is shown to converge over a wide range of initial angles. The re sults are demonstrated in a physical experiment along with complimenta ry numerical predictions. (C) John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
