Abstract
Chiral tetracyclic dasycarpidone-type compounds (alpha R, IS, 5R)-4 an d (alpha R, IR, 5S)-16 have been synthesized from 2-(1,3-dithian-2-yl) indole 6 and (alpha droxy-alpha-phenylethyl)-Delta(3)-piperidein-2-one 8 in three steps, following the methodology that we described recentl y.
