Abstract
The period of the helical magnetic structure in Tb, Dy, Ho and various Tb-Y alloys at all temperatures is determined unambiguously by the c/ a ratio of the hexagonal crystalline lattice. This may be caused by th e electronic topological transition that occurs when c/a changes.
