Abstract
The He-50% Tb alloy orders in a magnetic spiral structure in the tempe rature range 83-185 K. Resonant magnetic X-ray scattering at Ho and Tb L(III) edges shows that the behaviors of both constituents through th e transitions are equivalent. The dipolar resonance is about twice as strong in Tb than it is in Ho.
