Abstract
A series of c-axis Nd/Y superlattices, with Nd layers up to 77 Angstro m thick, exhibit magnetic order strikingly different from that of bulk Nd. A portion of the moment in the superlattices orders antiferromagn etically along c . Neel temperatures are enhanced by greater than or equal to 40% relative to the bulk T-N of 19.9 K.
