ErPdSn compound is antiferromagnetic with T-N = 5.2 K. Below T-t = 2.5
K a square modulated structure with wave vector k = (1/3, 1/2, 1/3) e
xists. Above T-t it changes to a sine modulated structure with wave ve
ctor k = (k(x), 1/2, k(z)). The Er3+ magnetic moment is 9.0(1)mu(B) at
T = 1.5 K and forms an angle of 75 degrees with the c-axis and 80 deg
rees with the a-axis. At T = 1.5 K, in a magnetic field H-c = 2 kOe, a
transition to a ferromagnetic state is observed. The determined magne
tic structures are confirmed by the symmetry analysis.
