We have measured the electrical resistivity, thermoelectric power and
magnetic susceptibility on single crystalline samples of the tetragona
l heavy-fermion compound CeNi2Ge2 which possesses a neither magnetic n
or superconducting ground state. The anisotropy of the magnetic resist
ivity and thermoelectric power are discussed, We found that the suscep
tibility with H along the c axis goes to maximum near 30 K.
