Abstract
A Conceptual Design Activity (CDA) for the International Fusion Materi als Irradiation Facility (IFMIF) will be completed in December 1996. T he IFMIF accelerator system, comprising two 125 mA, 40 MeV deuterium a ccelerators is a key element of the IFMIF facility. This paper describ es the status of the accelerator design as of June, 1996.
