Abstract
Magnetisation and neutron diffraction measurements on Pd2DySn reveal t
hat below 9 K a complex magnetic state exists, the details of which de
pend sensitively on the degree of atomic order. The results are discus
sed in terms of a crystal field CEF model including both single ion an
isotropy and internal field.
