The zero-field hyperfine spectrum of Tb-159 in polycrystalline Tb2Fe17
has been measured by NMR at 4.2 K. Distinct spectra arising from the
unique rare-earth site in the rhombohedral phase (R1) and from the two
inequivalent sites in the hexagonal phase (H1 and H2) were observed.
The extra-ionic contributions to the dipolar hyperfine fields are esti
mated to be (48 +/- 2)T (R1), (46 +/- 2)T (H1) and (46 +/- 2)T (H2).
