Lm. Garcia et al., SHORT-RANGE MAGNETIC AFTER-EFFECT IN R(2)FE(14)BH(X) R=ND, HO, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 144, 1995, pp. 1049-1050
In this work we demonstrate the existence of a dear correlation betwee
n the type of anomaly present in both ac susceptibility and magnetic a
fter-effect (MAE) measurements performed on the R(2)Fe(14)BH(x) compou
nds. These anomalies are explained as caused by disaccommodation of th
e domain walls coupled to interstitial hydrogen atoms. These atoms pro
voke orientational after-effect because of the thermal activation of t
heir motion. The anomalies detected in the MAE measurements represent
the first experimental detection of diffusion magnetic after-effect in
R(2)Fe(14)B compounds.
