Measurements of the electrical resistivity of the antiferromagnet NdZn
with the CsCl-type cubic structure under pressure P up to 16 kbar sho
w that the Neel temperature T-N decreases at a rate of -0.20 K/kbar an
d the magnetic rotation temperature T-R increases (dT(R)/dP=+0.20 K/kb
ar) with increasing pressure. The results are discussed in terms of th
e variation of the CEF parameters with pressure. Pressure-induced stru
ctural instability previously revealed in some isostructural light rar
e earth equiatomic binary compounds is not observed in NdZn.
