Abstract
The Low temperature magnetic behavior of the insulating layered metal rich rare earth dideuteride bromide TbBrD2 was investigated by specifi c heat, susceptibility and neutron diffraction measurements. All exper iments consistently prove antiferromagnetic ordering below 3.91(5) K. No indications of significant short range ordering were detected.
