Abstract
In GdBa2(Cu1-xFex)(3)O-7-y (x = 0-0.06), an orthorhombic to tetragonal phase transformation occurs and oxygen content dependence with x show s a V shape as T-c decreases from 91 to 0 K with x from 0 to 0.03. A 4 f-3d interaction between Gd and Fe may exist and greatly depresses T-c as AG theory describes.
