Spindle cell carcinoma is a rare tumor commonly occurring in the upper
aerodigestive tract. We report a 62-year-old male with spindle cell s
arcomatous change located at the hepatic hilum, resulting in obstructi
ve jaundice. The patient died after an extended resective operation. T
he rare disease and its histogenesis is discussed.
